The Openphonic Hat could actually be a hat. And if you put it on, you could hear more and wider. Differently. These are spontaneous improvisations on two guitars, sometimes describing reality almost too well – its colors, moods, rhythm… That is, blues, a dark kind. That is, pulse, beat, reflexes. And on top of that, a touch of sonorism, microtonal variations on prepared instruments. And melodies. Above all, melodies.

And two more people, Patryk Zakrocki and Marcin Olak.

The Openphonic Hat could, in fact, be a kind of hat. And if you were to put it on, you might hear more—and wider. Differently. Those free improvisations on two guitars, sounding like they could describe reality almost too well – its colors, moods, rhythm… It means blues, with its pulse, storytelling, call, and response. And on top of that, imagine a touch of sonorism, microtonal variations on prepared instruments. And melodies. Most of all melodies.
