Mateusz Rybicki, Patryk Zakrocki
A duo for clarinet and electric guitar - Mateusz Rybicki and Patryk Zakrocki. That combination brings lightness, movement, melody, a touch of swing, and a flavor of the 1950s. The two musicians have worked together for years across various projects, united by a tender attentiveness to the world, a respect for sound, and a gift for spontaneous composition.
It's a clear nod to chamber jazz in the spirit 50/60's. At the same time, it's improvised music - agile, free of form: when it wants, it returns to a motif, when it wants, it pulses with life and sometimes it's simply a dialogue of musical gestures between instruments, and between two people who like each other.
All music here is spontaneous improvisation recorded in one take.
